The great game of baseball. Young and old, enjoying the night air and the thrill of hitting the ball and dashing off to first base. Catching a fly ball for the third out – so satisfying. Smiles on people’s faces, that is what our gathering is all about. Enjoying one another in a competitive space. It’s always ok to lose. It simply means the other team is excited this time. We serve a great God and should be thankful for every minute we spend with others around us, even if they are on another team. We are looking forward to Tournament weekend, starting Friday August 16th and finishing Saturday August 17th at the Midhurst Sports Complex, diamonds 12 through 14 – on the right coming in. (unless they change the diamonds on us – they have done that in the past) Genuinely, take time to enjoy the people around you. Not just at ball. At work, at the grocery store, getting gas, and at home. Through the good and the difficult times, keep smiling, knowing He’s got you. God is good and He is all about relationship!
